Levi’s Story of Transferring Schools
Upon transferring to his current school, he gained confidence in his education and has earned a high GPA. He also volunteers with foster youth, a food pantry, and hurricane relief efforts.
A Little Help Goes a Long Way
ISF students rarely have a safety net, so we supplement our scholarships with "rainy day" funds that make life a little easier for students to focus on their education.

Meet the 2020 Graduates!
Thanks to you, these 2020 graduates are off to change the world! On Sunday, June 14th, we had the pleasure of hosting a virtual graduation celebration for our class of 2020 college students.
Kyra’s Story
Meet Kyra, who entered the foster care system at eight years old. She lived in eight different homes until graduation before embarking on an education at Ball State University through our scholarship program.
Zolena’s Story
Zolena was removed from her parents’ care at a young age and faced a tumultuous childhood in CPS until she aged out at 18 years old.
Isaiah’s Story
Isaiah has not always had a safety net. He lived in eight foster homes before the age of three.
LaThisa’s Story
With an International Student Foundation (ISF) scholarship, LaThisa earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work - an amazing feat for a young woman with such a difficult background.

“I am the first in my biological family to graduate college. I am a foster child who surpassed the 3% odds and got into college.”
Brittany’s Story
Brittany was orphaned as a teenager, separated from her siblings, and placed in the foster care system. Defying the odds, she flourished in college with ISF support and is now earning her Masters of Social Work. Her graduation is set for this May of 2020.
